Generic throw beads for as little as $0.17 a piece!

Reduce plastic waste and pay the lowest possible for your generic Mardi Gras Throw Beads!

These beads have never been used!  These assortments are made from beads leftover from unfilled or canceled orders.

They would be headed for the landfill if we did not package them together for members to purchase at a discount!

Why is the Krewe supplying generic beads this way?  Two main reasons:

• To provide members with the lowest prices possible for generic beads.
• To help reduce the amount of new plastic created for throws every year.

Where do these bead packs come from?

A few years ago the Krewe began working with suppliers and manufacturers on a program that would help reduce plastic waste and keep costs down for Krewe members.

Every year suppliers have orders that are left unpaid for or that are returned unused by big box stores.  Because the suppliers are wholesalers, most of their clients order specific sizes and types of beads. This means that these unused beads were usually thrown out without ever leaving the factory!

The Krewe started a program with a group of manufacturers to store and sort these unused beads.

After three years there is now enough inventory to switch over to to these reclaimed beads for our Krewe’s generic throw bead supply.

These reclaimed bead packages are more fun, the same quality, cost less and reduce waste!

Help us make this effort a success!

• Each pack is a random assortment of generic NEW throw beads.
• On average each pack ranges from 16-26 dozen (some as high as 30 dozen or as low as 12 dozen).
• They are made up of a variety of sizes and shapes and colors.
• Sample packs below chosen randomly for demonstration purposes.
  
• LENGTH: Most of the beads are 48in length, followed by 33in length, and a smaller amount that are a really long 60in or 72in.
• WIDTH: Most beads are 10mm, 12mm followed by 8mm, and a smaller amount that are 18mm or 22mm.
• Each pack weighs 8.33 Pounds.
• Packs made up of longer and heavier beads will have less quantity, and packs with shorter and lighter beads will have a greater quantity. Either way, a great deal!
• Each pack’s exact contents is unknown. There is no way to get a pack with a specific size or quantity.
• There will not be any exchanges or refunds after the bags are delivered and confirmed by your Float Lieutenant.
