The Krewe of Cleopatra Kicks off the 2025 Carnival Season – Friday Night, February 21st, 2025 at 6:30pm!

Get ready for a spectacle like no other as the Krewe of Cleopatra dazzles Carnival 2025 with over 2,800 riders, 100 unique throws, and the grand debut of their all-new signature floats!

Rolling along the historic Uptown parade route, starting at Napoleon Avenue and Tchoupitoulas Street, the procession celebrates women’s achievements in the workplace with their 2025 theme “CLEOPATRA’S TAKING CARE OF BUSINESS.”  Floats representing occupations from a variety of fields (CEO, Pilot, Actress, Social Media Influencer, Marine Biologist, and more).

Cleopatra is raising the bar with two magnificent BRAND NEW SIGNATURE FLOATS: “Cleopatra’s Nile…The River of Life,” a dynamic four-unit float, designed to be one of Mardi Gras’ most unique, and a new state-of-the-art “Title” float featuring cutting-edge technology. These showstoppers will join Cleopatra’s iconic “Royal Barge” and their original signature quad float, “Queen Tutt”, leading the way for 19 additional floats, all meticulously designed by Kern Studios.

Reigning over the procession is Queen Cleopatra LII, Greta Gloven. Adding rhythm and excitement to the parade are Alcorn State University, Warren Easton Charter High School, St. Mary’s Academy, and lively marching groups such as the Muff-a-Lottas, Chaissez Ladies, and Disco Amigos.

The Krewe will delight parade-goers with a variety of unique new throws, including signature decorated glasses, stainless steel cocktail recipe cups, lighted items and several unique keepsakes commemorating their new floats. The excitement all begins the night of their Rendezvous Ball on February 1, 2025, held at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside.
